Browsing the Web
Most of you will simply click on your Internet Connection button and accept whatever happens as "thats it"..  not necessarily,. one extremely helpful and fast internet Browser is Mozilla Firefox..  its FREE and fast and i use it myself. When you install it which is very easy it will automatically store all your links etc. ensuring you do not lose any information. Once installed even the novice can simply click on a button at the top of the page and be guide by some simple instructions on how to keep your Browsing safe and fast... One example is to click on the "Tools" button then "Options" and where it says homepage type http://google.com and click "save"   This will ensure that when you go online you will not see a mass of advertising junk that takes ages to load, just a nice clean search page. You can get Mozilla HERE   just download it, click on install and follow the instructions ok,. any problems let me know.. have fun..

Picture Viewer,Enhancer and all around great piece of software
Another excellent FREE piece of software is Irfanview, its a photo viewer and modification program which is simple and straightforward to use, i use it..  you can get it HERE

Geneaology and Family Tree Maker
Hard to believe its FREE but it is, i also use this one.,  download and try it HERE Take time to read the info, its superb but of course it takes a few days just to get the idea of all the things it can do..
